Ayaz Panchoo is a fellow member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountant (FCCA) and member of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA).

He has extensive experience in providing assurance and business advisory services in consumer retail, financial services, and the manufacturing sectors in the Middle East.

Prior to joining Standard Chartered in 2011, Ayaz was working with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) and AXA Insurance in the Gulf where he held senior position in the field of Audit.

He has developed key competences in International Financial Reporting Standards, information systems assurance, internal control process improvement, corporate governance, internal audit assessments and business strategy reviews.
